The American Values Law Center uses the law and legal process as a positive force to offset overreach by government officials and non-government actors.

Our work is based on the United States Constitution and guided by teachings of the Old and New Testament.

Funding Cutting Edge Legal Strategies

We work with high quality lawyers who want to use their training and education to make a positive contribution to our society. We believe that it is through our legal system that society decides upon its priorities and enforces its moral imperatives. And, in combination with free and fair elections, we believe that the court system is an essential check and balance against government overreach of all forms.

How We Define Victory

We believe we achieve our mission every time we are able to change the application of public policy to be more just, equitable and fair.

We Do Much More Than Just Hire Lawyers and Sue

The American Values Law Center combines funding litigation with communications and education (consistent with 501(c)(3) rules) to ensure that our work has a broader impact than what just takes place in the courtroom. It is our goal to educate the public on the issues that motivate our donors.  

The groups and individuals we support include the elderly, women, clergy (of all religions), minorities, and anyone who has been victimized by those with more money or power.  In short, we protect "the little guy" from being bullied.
